The Schulte Grid is a square card featuring 25 squares, each measuring 1 cm by 1 cm, filled with Arabic numerals from 1 to 25. During testing, participants are instructed to point to the numbers in sequential order from 1 to 25. The duration it takes to complete this task serves as an indicator of the participant's attentional capacity; shorter times suggest a higher level of focus.

While the Schulte Grid primarily measures attention levels, it also functions as an effective training tool. It is widely utilized by psychologists within therapeutic settings to enhance cognitive processes.

The use of the Schulte Grid engages and stimulates the optic nerve through dynamic exercises, facilitating research and development related to psychological perception speed, including visual search and directional movement.

Regular practice with the Schulte Grid fosters various cognitive abilities: concentration, distribution of attention, and control over visual focus. It also enhances visual range, accelerates visual processing speed, and improves stability, discrimination, and directional search capabilities.

With consistent use, individuals typically notice a decrease in the time needed to read the grid. As practice intensifies, peripheral vision develops further. Beginners can effectively broaden their visual field while increasing reading speed and recognition efficiency.
