- The Apple Watch app included with the iOS app utilizes HealthKit to initiate workouts on watchOS.
- The Apple Watch app integrates step count data with the iOS app through HealthKit.
Apple Watch App Integration
- To receive data from the Apple Watch app, select "Target Step Count/Device Settings" -> "Step Count Device" within the Jung-gu Health Mileage iOS app settings and choose Apple Watch.
- For real-time updates on step counts, both the iOS app and Apple Watch must be active.
- HealthKit Guidance for Apple Watch App
  - After launching the Jung-gu Health Mileage app on Apple Watch, touch the screen to activate Workout mode. Even if the Apple Watch display turns off during a workout, step count remains visible on the iOS app.
  - Workout mode will automatically end after 30 minutes to conserve battery life.
  - Users can manually stop Workout mode by touching the Apple Watch screen.
