EQMonitor is an application designed to provide timely access to earthquake information across Japan.

  • Upon the issuance of an emergency alert, the app displays the expected reach of P-waves and S-waves, anticipated maximum seismic intensity, and the epicenter.
  • The emergency alerts are updated in real-time, accessible from anywhere with an internet connection.
• Display of Strong Motion Monitoring
  • The app features the Strong Motion Monitor provided by the National Research Institute for Earth Science and Disaster Resilience.
