The importance of practice in developing proficient reading skills cannot be overstated. Learning to read forms a crucial foundation for children's educational success; however, retaining their interest in repetitive and mechanical tasks can be increasingly challenging.

To address this, the virtual tutor MaLé has been devised as a supportive tool for children learning to read in Spanish. Designed as an engaging adventure, MaLé assists children in practicing the mechanics of reading, including phonics and the formation of syllables, words, and sentences. This interactive experience embraces principles of positive psychology and emotional intelligence.

MaLé is tailored for children from kindergarten through third grade (approximately ages 4 and up) and offers the following features:
