Météo-France Ski et Neige 3.5.2

The "Météo-France Ski and Snow" app, a free application developed by Météo-France for winter sports enthusiasts, has been completely redesigned.

It caters to all winter sports practitioners regardless of their activity: downhill skiing, off-piste skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, sledding, snowshoeing, ski touring...

"Météo-France Ski and Snow" covers all French mountain ranges: the Alps, the Pyrenees, the Massif Central, the Vosges, and the Jura, not forgetting Corsica as well as Andorra's resorts. It provides weather forecasts, snow information, avalanche risk reports, and updated data for each of the 250 featured resorts including Tignes, Les Arcs, La Mongie, Super-Besse, Les Rousses, and La Plagne.

From the homepage, finding a resort is simplified through a zoomable map or your favorites list. Activating geolocation on your device allows for easy positioning and access to the nearest resorts. You can select up to 6 favorite stations to quickly find them on your home screen.

For each resort, four levels of information are available:

1. Weather Forecasts:
   • Forecasted weather for the next 14 days, with 3-hour intervals for the first 3 days.
   • Minimum and maximum temperatures and wind at the base and top of slopes, gusts, snowfall or rain, as well as altitude of the 0°C isotherm and rain/snow limit for each period.
   • UV index for the first 4 days.
2. Snow Conditions:
   • Snow depth at the base and top of the ski area.
   • Date of the last snowfall.
   • Snow condition (fresh, powdery, wet, icy...).
   • Off-piste snow depth at different altitudes on South and North slopes.
   • Continuous snow cover altitude.
   • New comprehensive Mountain Snow and Avalanche Reports written by massif (Vercors, Mont-Blanc, Queyras...) for high mountain areas.
3. Slopes:
   • Number of open ski slopes by categories (green, blue, red or black).
   • Total percentage of open ski slopes in the ski area.
   • Access to the snow park and half-pipe where available at the resort.
   • Number of kilometers of open cross-country skiing trails.
   • Snow depth at the top and bottom of installations.
4. The Resort:
   • Useful information for your stay such as tourist office contacts.
   • Direct access to each station's webcams to check snow conditions, sunshine levels, and slope traffic.

And always easy access to the alert map via the main menu.
