'Notice on App Permissions'

Under Article 22-2 of the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, as well as its related amendments, we provide the following guidance on access permissions required to provide KB Life & Prudential Life services:

• Required Access Permissions:
• - 'Phone': Used for device identification confirmation necessary for customer service connections and security. Phone numbers are collected and transmitted to enable setting up Digital ARS functionality.
• - (Android OS 13 or higher) 'Notifications': Used to receive Push Message notifications for Digital ARS usage.

• Optional Access Permissions:
• - 'Camera': Used for document attachment purposes (taking photos) and ID verification.
• - 'Photos and Videos': Utilizes access to photo files stored on the device for document attachments (image files).
• - 'Location': Utilized to find my location on maps.

**Even if you do not agree to allow optional access permissions, you can still use the service. However, there may be limitations when using certain functions.

'Phone Number Collection and Use Information'

• - Phone Number: - Upon initial app launch, KB Life app collects/transmits phone numbers to enable Digital ARS usage. - Phone numbers are collected/transmitted for authentication purposes during login.

'App Permission Settings Guidance'

Permissions settings functionality has been applied from Android OS version 6.0 onwards.

If using an Android OS version prior to Android OS 6.0, it may be difficult to consent to optional access permissions.

To agree to optional access permissions, please follow these steps:

1. [Smartphone Settings] > [Software Update] menu to check upgrade availability for your OS
2. If OS upgrade is available, proceed with the upgrade

Even after the operating system upgrade, permissions previously granted in existing apps will not change. Therefore, to reconfigure permissions, you must uninstall the installed app and then reinstall it.
