▶ Who operates Travel Wallet?

Travel Wallet Co., Ltd. has obtained government licensing for prepaid electronic payment instrument issuance and management, small-scale overseas remittance, online currency exchange, and banking open platform. It has built the highest level of IT security environment in the country and received certification from nationally recognized institutions, ensuring safe and stable service.

In addition, it has attracted more than 50 billion KRW in investment from Kakao, Base Investment, Doonamu & Partners, Seoul National University Technology Holding Company, and others. With a capital of over 20 billion KRW, it is financially stable receiving a guarantee of 900 million KRW and R&D support of 1.8 billion KRW through the Small and Medium Business Administration's TIPS program.

All registration procedures for Travel Wallet are managed by the Korea Financial Telecommunications & Clearings Institute (KFTC), which also manages personal information. Additionally, through Seoul Guarantee Insurance, it offers coverage in consumer damage compensation insurance up to 1.3 billion KRW to ensure safety in case of any unforeseen circumstances.
