The most catastrophic incident involved an uncontrollable explosion due to overheating of the collider, which the government publicly disguised as a minor earthquake to conceal the true nature of the event. Following these incidents, a national order was issued in the new millennium to cease all related experiments and destroy all corresponding materials and results. This nighttime activity heightened Xiao Li's intrigue, prompting him to venture inside for a closer look.

Upon entering, Xiao Li was astounded by what he encountered. Time seemed to stall as he stood frozen in shock. He saw a meteorological staff member seemingly petrified and sprawled across their desk—an astonishing sight suggesting that this transformation had occurred instantaneously, akin to a mythological encounter with Medusa. The room was partially occupied by a molten-like substance emanating excessive heat from beneath—but before he could fully process this, another peculiar feature caught his attention: an elevator in the center of the room reportedly leading underground.

Driven both by curiosity and the eeriness surrounding his grandfather’s past remarks, Xiao Li resolved to explore what lay below. Although the elevator was out of order, during his attempts to restart it he stumbled upon several confidential documents:
