The Master’s Compass is a software inspired by the life story of the Master, designed with principles derived from the scriptures. It aims to accompany users in rediscovering their inner wisdom amidst the chaos of modern life.

The Compass
The Master’s Compass is comprehensively organized according to the 28 chapters of the Great Praise of the Buddha, as outlined in the scriptures. These chapters are distributed across eight "stupas," each representing significant events from the Buddha’s life. (This software utilizes thangkas licensed from Phullahari Monastery, under Jamgon Kongtrul's lineage, for which we express our gratitude.) It is our hope that users will deepen their understanding of both the Master and the scriptures, drawing inspiration from his teachings and life experiences.

The Scriptures
The collection of scriptures includes modern translations of key Buddhist texts and serves as a foundational learning resource for the liberation community. Prominent works included are the Dhammapada, the Great Praise of the Buddha, selected readings from the Samyukta Agama, The Way of the Bodhisattva, The Jewel Ornament of Liberation, and The Karma Kagyu Ocean of Songs. The compilation also contains seven additional key precepts added by editor Lodro Rinchen. This collection represents a significant presentation of both Sutra and Tantra teachings, serving as a guide for practitioners across varying levels, akin to a 21st-century Buddhist scripture.

Engaging with the Dharma
Engaging with the Dharma features several sections:

• Learning: Offers a hundred basic Buddhist audio courses based on core precepts, along with eight beginner meditation courses.
• Practice: Provides foundational daily morning and evening practices for novice practitioners, weekly fasting rituals, and a systematized verse drawn from modern translations of the Dhammapada.
• Reading: Includes the Great Praise of the Buddha and thirty-four stories from past lives of the Buddha found in Jataka tales, alongside reference texts on Buddhist folklore.
• Practice: Contains foundational Tantric meditations based on retreat guidelines, as well as advanced practices such as Mahamudra meditation from the Vajrayana tradition and heart-mind training designed according to introductory texts.
• Prayer: Features prayers structured around "The Four Seals" to address various life challenges.
