Of course, with a touch of moe treatment: Shi Zhi's Liu Bei—undeniably the empress; Kyosuke's Zhang Fei—standard blonde tsundere loli; Narumi's Guan Yu—a queenly aura; not to forget the protagonist voiced by Jun Fukuyama. I must say the voice cast is extremely luxurious. Combined with exquisite character designs, it shows the development team's dedication.

On the plot side: within hours of my trial playthrough, I found myself getting absorbed unexpectedly! If not for the stamina limits restricting me—I'd probably overdosed on it! Liu Bei is undoubtedly THE Empress (laughs), however, the relationship between Liu Bei and Guan Zhang isn't as usual; Guan Yu is a wandering traveler saved and captivated by the protagonist! Let's cheer madly for Sister Guan Yu! Zhang Fei gets defeated by the protagonist and tactfully turned into an enemy city general! Then there's Yu Ji—yes, that one; with her flirtatious nature (censored adult jokes galore). The protagonist takes on the full task of sarcasm despite being in his best spirits.

It can be said that each character possesses distinct attributes showing successful character development. Though employing rather cliché Three Kingdoms characters in terms of plotline but incorporating various elements including mysteries surrounding the protagonist's lineage and his ability to absorb so-called dark matter—all progress logically driven by palace intrigue and battle plotline—a new lady joins at every stage; must say I also aspire to be such lord!

The game's systems and gameplay are quick to pick up; battle involves strategic flag-based combat where leaders' upgrades through leveling and equipment enhancements yield improvements as well as boosting affinity is attained by gifting which unlocks new character plots enhancing combat capabilities. These transitions are seamless including costume changes.
