Story Overview

• The material world Assiah, inhabited by humans, and the void realm Gehenna, where demons reside, are two separate dimensions that normally do not interfere with each other.
• Despite this separation, demons can possess various materials and interfere in the material realm.
• Among humans, certain individuals known as exorcists are capable of banishing such demons.
• Exorcists undertake various duties beyond demon suppression, including preventing disasters and terrorist activities involving demons, as well as offering counseling for local residents.
• While some exorcists operate on the front lines, many others in Japan’s True Cross Knights Branch are occupied with everyday tasks such as investigating strange phenomena, maintaining sacred sites, and debugging support applications like “Yubi.”

One day, a fire broke out at Baisairokan, a demon-possessed property belonging to the private collection of the branch director, Mephistopheles. Following this incident, reports of sightings of unfamiliar demons began circulating within the town.

Questions arise: why did Baisairokan ignite, and why did demons choose to inhabit it? An incident like this sparks changes in the seemingly mundane routines of certain exorcists, introducing unforeseen challenges and new winds into their daily lives.
