With the mobile app EPP by the ČEZ Group and the ČEZ Foundation, you can contribute through physical activity. Whether you run with your phone, cycle, or take walks, each activity earns points for a project of your choice that the ČEZ Foundation will support financially.

The mobile app EPP – Help by Moving is a tool that enables users to determine which projects and to what extent the ČEZ Foundation should support financially through their own active movement.

The app tracks user activity (such as walking, running, cycling, skiing, and even indoor activities like treadmill running) and, in addition to standard data on speed, time, pace, and distance, it also generates points. Users can donate these points to any of the currently available projects by non-profit organizations, schools, or municipalities. If users accumulate a certain number of points over a given period through their activity, the ČEZ Foundation will support the project with a specific predetermined amount. Current and previously supported projects, including points status and target amounts, can be monitored at www.pomahejpohybem.cz or www.nadacecez.cz.

The app can also function as a traditional sports tracker. It provides statistics of personal performance sorted by days and types of activity. The download, use of the app, and point generation are all free of charge; the app only requires data connection at the moment of activation or when the user wishes to donate generated points to one of the current projects. The application is optimized for mobile phones running Apple iOS 7 or later, Android 4.0 or later, and Wear OS 2.0. The app can be used either anonymously or by registering via email or Facebook account.

Attention: After activation, please ensure that outdoor movement is enabled (points are generated based on movement under GPS), or indoor movement (points are generated based on motion sensors in the mobile device).
