Users can conveniently store and retrieve multimedia and document files seamlessly on their PCs and access them on the go. The platform supports direct photo uploads from smartphones—either via camera or album—simply by pressing the upload button within the app interface.

Regarding video management, users can request automatic conversion of videos to compatible iPhone formats directly on the SecondDrive server, eliminating the need for prior manual conversion. Supported source formats include avi, mpg, asf, wmv, ts, tp, mp4, mov, and m4v. Files with damaged video streams or unsupported formats are not convertible.

For video playback or download, uploading an MP4 file in iPhone format allows users to either stream directly or save the original files locally. Note that subtitle support is limited to iOS version 3.2 and above.

The platform also supports downloading various file types, such as MP4, M4U, MOV videos; SMI subtitle files; JPG, BMP, PNG, GIF images; PDF and Microsoft Office documents; and MP3 music files. Users should be aware that if Wi-Fi connection drops, transfer processes may default to 3G data service, incurring potential charges. To prevent this, disable 3G usage in device settings.
