The mobile app service of the Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service (HIRA), called 'Health eSound', is designed to provide easy and convenient access to the main inquiry and application services of the organization's website (www.hira.or.kr) in a mobile environment.

Main Features:

1. HIRA Health Map: This is a map service that allows users to search for and view basic information such as the address, phone number, medical specialties, number of doctors, and medical equipment of hospitals and pharmacies. It also provides evaluation information and medical cost information based on location.
2. Non-covered Medical Cost Information: This service allows users to check the price of non-covered medical expenses submitted by medical institutions. By making this information public, it aims to assist patients in making rational choices when using medical institutions.
3. Non-covered Medical Cost Confirmation Service: This service confirms whether the medical expenses borne by healthcare institutions are eligible for health insurance (medical aid) coverage.
4. Safe Information by Scanning Medication: This service allows users to enter the name of a medication or scan its barcode to check basic information about the medication and whether it has been recalled by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety.
5. Self-Employment History Inquiry: If there is a history of employment at a long-term care facility, this service allows users to check their employment history, including the name of the facility, duration of employment, and type of employment.
6. My Medication at a Glance: This service enables users to view their medication history for the past year, as well as personal allergy and side effect information. (As of the inquiry date)
7. Access to My Medical Information: This service allows users to view information such as the medical expenses they have paid, total medical expenses, medical records, and prescription information. (Provided by the corresponding hospital/clinic/pharmacy to HIRA after the completion of the health insurance review)
8. My Health Notebook: This service allows users to view their medical usage information for the current year, such as herbal medicine prescriptions, dental scaling visits, physical therapy visits, emergency visits, and the number of simple radiographic examinations.

App Permissions

[Optional Permissions]

• Location: This enables users to access information about nearby hospitals and pharmacies based on their current location.
• Phone: This allows users to make phone calls within the app.
• Camera: This enables users to use the photo attachment feature.
• Files and Media: This allows users to upload/download files.

Note: Even if the optional permissions are not granted, users can still use the services excluding the features that depend on those permissions.
