At the beginning of 2022, the developer of Gamja Diary, an ENFP, experienced a profound sense of depression for the first time in their life. This sudden onset of melancholy felt as if it emerged out of nowhere, leaving them uncertain about how to overcome it.

In search of answers, they frequently turned to YouTube to learn about 'depression' and discovered that numerous mental health professionals emphasized the importance of cultivating gratitude as a means to alleviate depressive symptoms.

Motivated by these insights, they began keeping a gratitude diary and subsequently developed the 'Gamja Diary' to make this practice more accessible and enjoyable. While it is unclear whether the diary was solely responsible for their emotional recovery, they have successfully managed to overcome their depression and are now living a stable and happy life. It is their hope that others will find daily happiness through the Gamja Diary as well.

The timeline view offers a 'monthly filter' that allows users to conveniently review their recorded gratitude entries at a glance. This feature provides an opportunity to reflect on past experiences and acknowledge what they have been thankful for, with the hope that these small acts of gratitude will lead to greater happiness.
