英雄坛 (Hero's Gate) is an open-world martial arts RPG that incorporates elements of MUD (Multi-User Dungeon). The story begins when you inadvertently trigger a time and space portal in the ancient land of Hero's Gate, transporting you to a mysterious continent in the East.

Upon starting the game, all players are set at the age of fourteen and can customize their gender and attributes according to their preferences. You find yourself in the central location of this continent, a peaceful little town called Ping An. Despite being a virtual world, Hero's Gate still maintains basic elements of reality. Here, your age progressively increases, you become thirsty and hungry, and you need money to sustain your life. The NPCs (Non-Player Characters) in this world lead seemingly calm lives—will your arrival change that? Perhaps only you will know.

Unlike traditional RPGs, Hero's Gate doesn't impose a continuous main storyline. You have the complete freedom to decide your life in this virtual world based on personal preferences. You can diligently train martial arts, punish villains, or even engage in heinous acts and embrace moral decay. Alternatively, you can choose to do nothing but wander aimlessly and pass the time. Everything is entirely up to you. Of course, being in the martial arts world, it wouldn't hurt to learn some fighting skills. Additionally, rumors have spread among martial artists that the ruling Jin Yuanjian Dynasty of this continent will deploy envoys to reward good deeds and punish evil, and will also hold a martial arts conference where gaining fame is an achievement worth pursuing.
