2023 is the year of Gui Mao in the Chinese calendar. The Baisha Tun Gongtian Palace's Mazu will be making a pilgrimage from the South to the Beigang Chaotian Temple, and our GPS system will provide believers with the most up-to-date and accurate location of the Baisha Tun Mazu!

The GPS devices are carried by our 'mobile devices' following alongside the Mazu's sedan to collect information. If you see them on the road, feel free to offer them support or assistance!

We are a group of volunteers serving the Mazu in Baisha Tun and operate as an unofficial team. Whether it's software engineering, mobile devices, or personnel management, all tasks are divided among team members who work collaboratively.

We aim to provide a fast, convenient, and user-friendly platform every year that allows believers and relevant parties to use it, ensuring that events can be successfully carried out.

The system will acquire users' locations. You can choose not to share this information by turning off sharing in the system settings. User data will only be used for congregation distribution analysis.

For personal safety purposes, please refrain from disclosing personal information such as your name, phone number, address, credit card number, or ID card number within the app.

During the event period, our staff will monitor GPS signals and conditions at all times. We will do our best to provide comprehensive information services; however, satellite signals may inaccurately locate due to factors like weather or power issues for which we will not be liable.

The map route will display approximately 500 points as guidelines for the route. Therefore, route records are for reference only.

Please be mindful of your comments. Refrain from sharing content that violates social norms, uses inappropriate language, breaks the law, contains personal attacks, or spreads malicious propaganda or links.

In case of proven violations reported and verified, the user will be blacklisted by our staff.

Messages within the chat room reported by users will be reviewed by our staff. Any messages found to violate the regulations mentioned above will be deleted.

If a user's comments are successfully reported more than 5 times, the system will automatically blacklist that user.

Users on the blacklist can still use the app; however, to avoid disputes, messages from blacklisted users will be filtered by the system.

If a user posts too frequently, the system will lock them out for 15 seconds before allowing them to send another message. This is to prevent spamming or disruptive messages intentionally causing disorder.

We do not retain users' conversation data long-term. If needed, please back up your data. Each message is limited to 100 characters at most; keep this in mind when posting.

The system does not require any third-party login. Only your chosen name and profile picture set on the app will be publicly displayed. However, if a user violates regulations, system administrators can still manage app messages accordingly based on device information.

The app will periodically allow users to provide accommodation and other relevant information. After staff review, this information will be displayed in the chat room. Any inappropriate information reported may result in its deletion.

Setting up a nickname is required before adding new messages or comments.
