In recent times, there has been a significant increase in interest in IQ tests, which has led to the emergence of numerous unsubstantiated scales. Therefore, comparing the results of different tests is highly challenging, and the IQ score itself has lost its informative value.

The "Raven Progressive Matrices" method was developed in 1936 by John Raven (in collaboration with L. Penrose). The Raven Progressive Matrices test is designed to diagnose the level of intellectual development and evaluate the ability for systematic, methodical intellectual activity (logical thinking).

The test consists of 60 tasks divided into 5 series. Each series contains tasks of increasing difficulty (for example, tasks 1-12 are easy, tasks 13-24 are more difficult, and so on).
