To make the process of medical appointments more convenient for the public, Taipei Veterans General Hospital has updated its mobile medical service app with the following improvements:

1. The app integrates 9 branches of the hospital, including Taoyuan Branch, Hsinchu Branch, Yuli Branch, Yuanshan Branch, Taitung Branch, Suao Branch, Fenglin Branch, and Guandu Hospital, enabling the public to visit different branches without having to download multiple apps.
2. The user interface has been adjusted for more intuitive and convenient app usage.
3. The app can be used vertically or horizontally, and most functions can be operated single-handedly.
4. Automatically saves input registration information, saving users time from re-entering the details.
5. Provides appointment reminder notifications.
6. Offers 'Import Google Calendar' function for easy integration with your personal calendar.

Various features include:

1. Mobile Registration: Select the desired registration date and department, enter ID number and date of birth to complete the registration. Also allows users to check current outpatient registration status (e.g., full quota, clinic closed).
2. Appointment Inquiry: Enter ID number and date of birth to view appointment information and set up reminders through 'Reminder Notifications' or adding to 'Google Calendar' for appointment alerts.
3. Appointment Progress: Provides real-time inquiry of outpatient appointment information.
4. Examination Inquiry: Enter ID number and date of birth to view scheduled examination details.
5. My Records: View past medical records for assistance in making subsequent appointments with the same doctor in the specific department within recent available time slots.
6. Nutrition Area: Provides meal ordering for inpatients and offers information on dietary nutrition and health care.
7. Doctor Specialties: Check the medical specialties of hospital doctors to aid in appointment scheduling.
8. Mobile Payments: Patients can conduct financial card transfers or credit card payments via their mobile phones before discharge if payment is pending.
9. Medication Reminders: Users can scan medicine packets or manually enter medication information for timely reminders to take medications.
