The newly introduced TESAT application, developed independently by The Korea Economic Daily, aims to prepare candidates for the actual exam through a smartphone-compatible platform.

The free version of the TESAT app has been created to serve readers and examinees by offering in-depth learning tools and assessment features that identify areas needing improvement. It emphasizes convenience, allowing users to practice and study anytime and anywhere—be it during travel or leisure—thus aiming to augment learning effectiveness.

Features include:

• TESAT comprises two question formats. The first features five categories—fundamentals of economics, applied economics, current affairs basics, current affairs application, and situational judgment—with 8 questions each, timed for 10 minutes. The second offers an untimed mode where test-takers can review correct answers and detailed explanations after each question.
• The "Scrap" function enables users to revisit questions for review purposes. During in-depth study sessions without time limits, immediate feedback on correctness is provided as questions are answered. By selecting the Scrap menu, users can systematically save questions for further review, making explanations easily accessible to reinforce learning.
• The "Notifications" feature delivers timely information about actual TESAT exam schedules and relevant updates from The Korea Economic Daily, assisting examinees in staying informed about exam-related developments.
