Notice of Discontinuation for Smart Living 2.1

• The Smart Living 2.1 app service will cease on December 31, 2023. After this date, the use of Smart Living 2.1 and service requests will no longer be available.
• Users can transition to the Smart Living 3.0 app for continued service.

Bridge Update Functionality

• An update feature is available to upgrade from Bridge Ver2.2 to Ver3.0.
• After completing the update to Bridge Ver3.0, users will have access to the newly released “Smart Living 3.0.”
• The newly launched GateMan “Smart Living 3.0” supports the use of the previous version of the Bridge through this update functionality.
• If your current Bridge and Bridge package do not display "Ver3.0," you must complete the Bridge update in the application before re-registering in "Smart Living 3.0."
• If "Ver3.0" is indicated, you can use it directly in the “Smart Living 3.0” application without any further updates.

Bridge Update Detailed Guide (in Smart Living 2.1)

1. Download or update and run Smart Living 2.1.
2. Check the update notification pop-up, then click “Prepare Update” to access the Key Vault.
3. In the Key Vault, keys with older versions of the Bridge will be highlighted in red.
4. Select the red-indicated key that requires a Bridge program update.
5. Verify the instructions for updating and click on the update icon to initiate the process.
6. Upon completing the Bridge program update, note that keys currently registered with that version cannot be used in this application; further guidance will follow (keys and Bridges can be re-registered in the new “Smart Living 3.0” application).
7. Monitor the color and status of the lamp on your Bridge to confirm progress and completion of the update (only a red lamp should remain lit when complete).
8. A pop-up stating “The Bridge has been deleted” will appear upon successful completion of the update.
9. You will see a notification pop-up to download the Smart Living 3.0 application:
   • If you do not currently have “Smart Living 3.0,” click “Download” to access the app store and install it.
   • If you choose “Next Time,” functionality of registered keys in your current application (Smart Living 2.1) may be limited; please register new keys and Bridges in “Smart Living 3.0.”
   • If any keys still appear in red in your Key Vault, please proceed with their updates similarly.

Bluetooth Communication Pack Update Notice

• If you currently use the existing Bluetooth Communication Pack (Ver 2.2), you can register keys anew in “Smart Living 3.0” and then update your Bluetooth Communication Pack for continued functionality.
