The use of Şafak Sayar is notably straightforward. It is recommended to input your military history and fill in all necessary information in the Military Settings section completely. Wishing you a successful discharge.

• Compatible with the 2024 New Military System.
• Options include: Reserve Officer (Asteğmen), Reserve Non-Commissioned Officer (Astçavuş), Short-term (6 months), Long-term (12 months), Paid Military Service (1 month), and optional additional durations of 3, 9, 15, and 18 months.
• This application has been developed from scratch in mid-2024 based on the features of currently available applications.
• You can transition to the new version without losing any information stored in your Notepad from the previous version.
• For long-term users, it has been designed so that re-entry of Military Settings is not necessary.
• A photo list of friends is available along with a personalized profile where you can add specific phone numbers and notes for each contact.
• The main menu and widget allow for optional display of chosen or captured images.
• Widgets have been introduced for 3x Dawn Display and 6x Flashlight features.
• The widget refreshes dawn information every minute or with a single click, with optional image display.
• A note-taking interface is available for adding, reading, editing, and deleting notes—effectively serving as a daily journal.
• Approximately 300 compiled military sayings are accessible, including personalized dawn words for plates that can be easily shared or saved for later sharing.

Additionally:

• Military Law Article 78 is provided in PDF format for review.
• Periods counted towards military service have been included in the settings.
• Leave entitlement durations are automatically selectable based on the chosen period, with an option to modify later.
• Turkish provinces have been extended in the settings, including districts outside Turkey such as Northern Cyprus, Syria, Northern Iraq, and Libya.
• You can share your dawn count across social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp, Google+, etc.).
• A countdown timer that tracks hours, minutes, and seconds until dawn has been added.
• An expression “YA SABIR: 99 Esma ül Hüsna” has been added alongside Bismillah written in both Turkish and Arabic for those awaiting their dawns.
• All durations including travel permissions have been extended to a maximum of 99 days.

You can track your dawn yourself or for family and friends. You can also add multiple contacts in the Friends section to track their dawns. After entering military details in the settings section, save to calculate your dawn. It is advisable to access the help section in the menu before saving dawn information.

Entering date and day information only needs to be done once as it is saved automatically. The SAVE button is only required for name entries.

There are claims from some users about miscalculations; however, the application computes accurately provided that the settings are correctly configured. Should you require assistance, feel free to reach out via email. Please ensure not to combine travel leave with annual leave as it may cause delays in discharge processing. Verify that all information entered is correct when setting up your profile.
