This application is designed for native Spanish speakers. It can also be used by children learning Spanish as a second or third language.

This application provides all the necessary features and components to develop strong phonemic awareness and a solid understanding of letters in your child. These are the initial steps to set your child on the path to reading success. This game is part of the ABC MÁGICO series. This application has 10 sequential learning levels to build a strong foundation for reading in Spanish. The sequence is designed to take the learner from knowing nothing about letters to having good phonemic awareness and a strong understanding of the alphabetic principle.

This application is not a vocabulary test or a guessing game for objects. The child NEVER has to know which image it is beforehand. Tapping on the image box will ALWAYS play the audio file that names the image.

This application is dedicated to helping children learn the SOUNDS the letters produce. It focuses on the SOUNDS of the letters rather than the NAMES of the letters. A child can read without knowing the names of the letters, but a child who only knows the letter names cannot read phonetically.

These games are designed for children to be able to play independently after receiving basic instructions on how to play. The application has built-in feedback mechanisms to assist the child in working independently, allowing them to learn at their own pace and in their own way. The child does not need constant supervision or be told what the correct answer is. This frees up adults to observe their child's learning and provide assistance when invited.
