• You cannot use the Smart Banking service on a device that has been tampered with (rooted).
• Data charges may apply depending on your mobile carrier's plan.
• Korea Post will never request the full security card number.
• Do not take a picture of or store the security card in the app or any files.

Information on Permissions and Purposes for Korea Post Smart Banking App

• Storage (Required): Verify tampering (rooting) and store certificates.
• Phone (Required): Verify phone number and device.
• Location (Optional): Find Korea Post/ATM locations (apply for in-person consulting, etc.).
• Camera (Optional): Scan utility bill QR codes (to verify the need for identification).
• SMS (Optional): Automatically enter additional authentication through SMS.
• Contacts (Required): Search phone numbers for transfer and receive SMS after transfers (SDA 3.0.6 or higher required).

* Permissions are divided into required and optional. If you do not allow the required permissions, you cannot use Korea Post Banking. Some functions may be limited if you do not allow optional permissions.

* For devices with Android 6.0 or below, all permissions may be considered required. In this case, you need to upgrade the OS to 6.0 or higher, uninstall the Smart Banking app, and reinstall it in order to configure optional permissions.
