Sheikh Abu Bakr Al-Shatari is a Yemeni reciter, born in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, in 1970.

He obtained an ijazah for reciting the Quran in the Hafs narration from Asim under the guidance of Ayman Suwaid in 1996. Following this, he earned a master's degree in accounting in 2000. Sheikh Al-Shatari has several recordings of his recitations and has completed two Quranic memorizations: the first in 1989 and the second in 2008.

The reciter has led prayers in numerous mosques across Jeddah, including Al-Rajhi Mosque, Saeed ibn Jubair Mosque, Abdul Latif Jameel Mosque, Al-Taqwa Mosque, and Al-Shaibi Mosque. He has also prayed at Jaber Al-Ali Mosque in Kuwait and Al-Farooq Mosque in Dubai. Currently, he serves as the imam of the Forqan Mosque in the Naseem neighborhood of Jeddah.
