"Love Blood" is a membership service that connects the Japanese Red Cross Society with blood donors. It allows for blood donation reservations and pre-screening questionnaires to be completed in advance. By using "Love Blood," individuals can avoid crowded blood donation sites, reduce the time spent there, and minimize contact opportunities, making blood donation more convenient and safe. Current users of "Love Blood" can continue to utilize the app. Blood donation is available for individuals aged 16 and above, while those under 16 can register as pre-members to receive information about blood donation and book their first donation when they reach the eligible age.

Blood Donation: Blood donation is a volunteer activity where healthy individuals provide their own blood free of charge to save the valuable lives of patients in need of transfusions for medical treatments or surgeries.

Blood Donation Card: The traditional blood donation card has now been integrated into the app. Please present the barcode displayed in the app at the reception. Note that issuing or updating a blood donation card is not done for those who present the app at reception.

Blood Donation Reservation: With the app, blood donation reservations can now be made. Same-day reservations (up to 3 hours in advance*) are also possible, allowing for easy access to nearby blood donation sites. *Note: Some locations may not allow same-day reservations.

Pre-Screening Questionnaire: Questionnaires that were previously only available at blood donation sites can now be completed through the app.

Blood Test Confirmation: Users can check their blood donation records at any time.

Event Search & Registration: It's possible to search for events and volunteer opportunities based on event dates and locations.

Membership Benefits: Accumulate blood donation points based on the type of donation provided. Reserving a blood donation appointment also earns reservation points, which can be exchanged for original memorabilia. Additional features include event and campaign information notifications and various useful tools. (*Certain conditions apply for point eligibility.)

Quiz: Monthly quizzes related to blood donation are distributed. Points are awarded upon successful quiz completion. (*Exclusive feature for pre-members.)

Supported Devices: This service is intended for smartphone devices. (Note: Some features may not function properly on certain devices.) Tablet devices are not supported.
