The popular app "Pandas Eating SMS" has released a new version that fully adapts to the latest iOS 16 SMS categorization. In addition to normal and spam messages, it can now identify more detailed message categories such as finance (banking information, insurance, financial management, utility bills), orders (pickup codes, logistics, order status, travel), telecom operators, and weather.

Pandas Eating SMS innovatively uses the CoreML machine learning framework to offline intercept spam messages on mobile phones. We do not upload user messages and refuse cloud recognition.

We rely on a large user base to actively report spam messages to help build a machine learning sample library. Then, we use statistics-based machine learning algorithms to learn from millions of various message samples. Users do not need to configure any keywords. By identifying the semantic features of a message, it can accurately determine whether the received message is a normal message, public service message, transaction record, or advertising harassment message.

If Pandas make an incorrect judgment, users can feed new message samples in the app to help Pandas evolve. The more they are fed, the smarter they become.

Privacy Policy: What information does Pandas collect?

"Pandas Eating SMS" does not collect any of your information and does not upload your message content. If you voluntarily submit message samples to Pandas, only two pieces of data will be collected: anonymized message text and a number indicating whether it is a spam message or not.
