SCOTTY mobil is a comprehensive information service about public transport in Austria provided by ÖBB. It offers you all the necessary information for your journey while on the go, including the most up-to-date itineraries with maps and real-time information.

Journey planner for public transport

SCOTTY mobil gives you access to the schedules of all public transport operators in Austria and calculates the optimal trips for you, whether by train, bus, tram, subway, or ship. You can also view footpaths to stops and stations clearly laid out on a street map, making it easy to navigate. Additionally, if you need to find the quickest route to one of your contacts, SCOTTY mobil can calculate that using the address from your contacts. To provide this feature, SCOTTY mobil asks for access to your contacts upon activation. Rest assured that only address data is used, and no personal data is accessed.

Real-time information

No matter where you are, you can now get the most up-to-date travel information directly on your Android device with SCOTTY mobil. Whether you're on board a train or picking someone up at the station, you can easily check if your train is running on schedule. You can even display the Timeboard, which is the departure monitor of your stop/station, directly on your Android screen.

Up-to-date disruption information

Unexpected events like storms or route blockages may disrupt your journey. With SCOTTY mobil, you will always stay informed about delays or disruptions in the ÖBB railway network. This ensures that you remain connected and can make any necessary adjustments to your travel plans.

ÖBB train radar

The train radar feature shows all ÖBB trains running in the Austrian railway network on a map. It includes not only long-distance trains but also regional trains. By clicking on a train, you can access its real-time data, including location and punctuality, as well as its next stops. You can also customize the display to show specific train types or certain trains.
