This easy-to-play game includes over 390 images and boasts a vocabulary of more than 2,300 words. Each image offers multiple readings, allowing players to discover rare words hidden within.

Gameplay Rules

Playing "Pikutori" is straightforward. Simply tap an image and connect words sequentially!

• Example: "りんご" (Apple) → "こあら" (Koala) → "らんきんぐ" (Ranking)

Players need not worry about nuances like dakuten or handakuten; "ご" (go) can be treated as "こ" (ko), and "ぱ" (pa) as "は" (ha) without penalty. Correct answers add the number of letters in the word to your remaining time—three seconds for "りんご" and five seconds for "らんきんぐ." As long as the game is ongoing, at least one correct connection will always be available.

Difficulty Settings

The game features four modes tailored to varying skill levels:

• Practice: 4 images, 60-second timer, images disappear after 10 seconds, no bonus for correct answers.
• Level 1: 6 images, 15-second timer, images disappear after 10 seconds.
• Level 2: 12 images, 30-second timer, images disappear after 5 seconds.
• Level 3: 20 images, 60-second timer, images disappear after 2 seconds.

Players are encouraged to start with the Practice and Level 1 modes before progressing to Levels 2 and 3. Rare words may be easier to discover at higher levels.

Collection Feature

The game's collection feature allows players to gather images and words, ranging from easy to difficult readings. Completing this collection can be quite rewarding and visually appealing.

Simply browsing through the collection of cute images can be a delightful experience. Additionally, players can submit readings back to the database, which are regularly updated to enhance community engagement.
