"Word Blocks" is designed with the concept of returning to the essence of memorizing words, without predefining any learning methods, but instead focusing on ensuring the quality of the word bank, interactive experience, memory progress management, and AI technology. It provides users with the highest degree of freedom, allowing them to explore the most suitable learning methods for themselves.

You can add the words you want to learn to "Word Blocks" and recite and test these words according to the application's guidance. AI technology will track each learning process, assess your mastery of each word, and remind you to review at the appropriate time. With its modern and immersive design, it provides an unprecedented learning experience.

Upon entering the application, you will see various words displayed on the interface in different colors. This is the innovative color memory system of "Word Blocks." Each color represents your familiarity with the word, and this familiarity is analyzed and calculated by the AI algorithm based on your learning status. Through color blocks, you can intuitively understand which words you are familiar with or unfamiliar with, which words you have just learned, and which words are in the period of forgetting and need to be reviewed as soon as possible.

Each color in "Word Blocks" is carefully selected by designers in order to present it to users in the most intuitive and understandable way. The beautiful color combinations can increase the enjoyment and interest of word learning, reducing the monotony of the learning process.

Conventional vocabulary learning applications have fixed Ebbinghaus forgetting curves, which only remind users to review based on pre-set time intervals, making it rigid.

In "Word Blocks," each word has an independent memory curve. By using the learning data of a large number of users as samples, the mapping of "word-forgetting curve" is derived, and then the mapping of "root-forgetting curve" is deduced. This mapping is continuously used and adjusted throughout the lengthy process of learning English, striving to provide feedback on users' learning levels and diligence using a more scientific and objective method. Currently, this system is not fully available, and future versions will continue to improve it.

The word database of this application includes hundreds of thousands of English words with Chinese definitions, collected based on various exam outlines and corpus word frequencies. It integrates various free and open-source materials available in the market and conducts frequency correction using BNC/COCA corpus. Natural language processing tools like NodeBox and WordNet are utilized to supplement and annotate various tenses, voices, derived words, and more. Moreover, annotations are made based on exam outlines, Collins star ratings, and the Oxford 3000 core words, enabling users to instantly recognize the importance of each word.
