Main Features:

• Account Opening:
  • It is possible to open a Yucho Bank account instantly.
  • If additional verification is required, it may take up to 2 weeks.
  • Existing Yucho Bank comprehensive account holders are not eligible for new account opening.
• Passcode Re-registration:
  • If you forget your cash card passcode, you can quickly re-register a new passcode to resume account usage.

Requirements:

• Smartphone (with camera, NFC function for IC chip reading)
• Identification document (driver's license, My Number Card, or Residence Card)
• Foreign nationals must use a Residence Card for account applications. Additional documentation like employee ID or student ID may be requested.

This app is not available for:

• Individual proprietors, corporations, or organizations
• Clients under adult guardianship
• Clients residing outside Japan
• Other clients may also be ineligible based on application details or account status.

Important Notes:

• Only applications from individual clients themselves are accepted.
• The accounts opened through this app are passbook-free comprehensive accounts. For passbook issuance, please visit a Yucho Bank branch or post office savings counter.
• For changing to an account with a passbook, in-person written procedures at the counter are necessary with a fee of ¥1,100 per transaction.
• Fingerprint registration is not conducted during account opening via this app. Clients requiring fingerprint registration for utility bill payments need to visit a Yucho Bank branch or post office savings counter within the vicinity after opening an account with their cash card, registered seal, and photo identification document.
• The service is unavailable between 23:50 to 00:05.
• The app usage is free; however, data usage charges incurred during download and use are the client's responsibility.
• Some procedures may not be available. Please check the displayed instructions within the app.
