This is Vladimir Dal's Explanatory Dictionary, containing 43,000 entries. The dictionary operates in OFFLINE mode and does not require an internet connection to function.

A database of over 36MB will be downloaded upon first launch. Please use a wi-fi connection.

Key features:

1. History - every word you ever viewed is saved in the history.
2. Favorites - you can add a word to the favorites list by clicking on the star icon.
3. Management of History and Favorites lists - you can edit these lists or clear them.
4. Various settings - you can change the font and theme (select one of the color themes).
5. Pronunciation of words using Text-To-Speech module (requires an internet connection). Powered by iSpeech®.
6. Contextual word search - click on any word in the article to get its translation.
7. "Random word of the day" widget. To see the widget in the list, the application must be installed in the phone's memory (the dictionary can be installed anywhere).
