Introduction

Aiming to enhance and diversify electronic payment services in Libya, under the guidance of the Central Bank of Libya, the Electronic Merchant Gateway Wallet has been launched. This service is designed to facilitate transactions for our network of merchants while providing them with a variety of user-friendly electronic services.

What is the Electronic Merchant Gateway Wallet?

This wallet is a tool for merchants that offers multiple options for sales transactions. It ensures greater sales opportunities for merchants and allows them to monitor their daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance.

How to Subscribe to the Service:

• Download the Electronic Merchant Gateway application or visit the online registration link.
• Click on the subscription button and enter your national identification number and phone number.
• Fill in the required commercial activity details, including the store name in Arabic and English, the requested point of sale devices, type of business, location, and nearest point of reference.
• Upload personal documents (national ID, passport, and a personal photo).
• Enter the verification code received via SMS.
• Upon activation of the service, you will receive an email and SMS containing a temporary password.

Sales Process:

• Using a QR code
• Utilizing instant payment services through an SMS that contains a confirmation code sent to the customer, after which the merchant inputs the code to complete the purchase.
