The Al-Raqeem Radio Station began broadcasting from the city of Fallujah, with a transmitter reaching 1k and operating on the 97.9 FM frequency, covering the Al-Khalediya area up to Abu Ghraib. Its launch took place at the beginning of 1441 Hijri year corresponding to 2019 AD. The station started with cultural, social, and intellectual programs focusing on presenting social, intellectual, and cultural issues and seeking appropriate solutions for each problem.

The radio station hosted numerous officials, presidents, and directors of state departments, emphasizing intellectual programs to address extremist ideas and providing a detailed analysis of hostile ideologies. It aimed to combat such concepts and ideas while also focusing on supporting youth in various ways and addressing the issues faced by women in terms of family and social violence, presenting their problems and obstacles.
