Angry Words is an application designed for learning English vocabulary using flashcards. The learning process is based on the spaced repetition algorithm.

English words on the flashcards are presented at increasing intervals to ensure long-term retention. Unknown words are practiced through specific exercises: selecting the correct translation from 6 options, reconstructing a word from audio prompts, and typing the word in response to its translation. Choosing the correct translation establishes the English → Russian link, reconstructing words from symbols after listening to pronunciation enhances auditory perception, and typing words reinforces the Russian → English connection while developing spelling skills.

Each vocabulary card provides an English word with its transcription, translation, and part of speech. One translation is displayed per card to maximize learning efficiency, as studying multiple meanings simultaneously is highly ineffective. If an English word has multiple meanings, they are presented on separate cards for individual study. Additionally, example sentences are included on the cards to demonstrate how words are used in context, enabling a comprehensive understanding of when and how to use the English words. Each card also features images that underscore the word's meaning, aiding in visual memory retention.

Angry Words offers collections featuring common English words as well as various thematic sets. The app includes approximately 6000 cards, and users have the option to add their own words and create custom collections for study.
