The eSzemélyiM is a user-friendly mobile application available in Hungarian and English for free. With an NFC (near field communication) reader and functionality on your mobile device, you can easily read and display your personal data stored on the electronic identification card - known as eSzemélyi - issued after January 1, 2016. The app also helps manage the PIN codes associated with the document, eliminating the need to purchase a card reader or visit government offices to unlock blocked PIN codes or set new ones. You can activate and modify the eIdentification and eSignature PIN codes, provide your CAN number, and temporarily store it using the app. It also allows you to verify if your document has a service identifier for accessing various services, particularly public transportation services (e.g., purchasing tickets and passes, validating them with some transport providers).

The application replaces the need for a USB card reader by using a utility program installed on a Windows/Linux system, enabling electronic signature or identification for electronic transactions via the computer and mobile phone.

To use the application, you will need:
- Internet connection,
- Adequate NFC signal strength,
- NFC chip in the mobile device that supports extended length communication,
- Mobile device running Android OS 7.0 or higher,
- To download the application from the Google Play Store.
