The Ministry of Health and Welfare is launching a smartphone app that provides emergency medical information in response to the increasing demand for emergency medical services and rapidly changing IT environment.

Main Features of the Emergency Medical Information App:

• Find hospitals for real-time treatment based on the map
• • Search nearby clinics and pharmacies based on your location
• Create a list of favorite clinics and pharmacies
• • Register frequently visited hospitals in your favorites and quickly access their detailed information
• Get an overview of emergency room situations
• • Quickly understand the current status of each emergency room based on your location
• Find hospitals and pharmacies available during evenings and weekends
• • Offer icons to quickly find hospitals and pharmacies that are currently operating during evenings or weekends
• Find AEDs around your location
• • Easily locate AED devices near you and check their inspection status (within the last 60 days)
• Find hospitals and pharmacies open during holidays (Holiday Pharmacies)
• • Search for hospitals and pharmacies that operate during holidays
• Allow hospital and pharmacy personnel to share their opinions
• • Hospital and pharmacy personnel can contribute by providing information about operating hours, tags, and images of their facilities
• Enable users to express their opinions freely
• • Users can freely share any other opinions related to hospitals and pharmacies

Purpose of Collecting Permissions for Providing Emergency Medical Information:

• GPS and Network Location (Optional): Use the user's GPS and network location to find nearby hospitals and pharmacies
• Automatic Call (Optional): Use the automatic call function to directly call hospitals and pharmacies
• Photos and Media (Optional): Use photos stored on the user's device when uploading images
• Even if the user does not agree to provide access permissions for each item, the service can still be used.
