[FAQ about app usage]

1. If you can't sign up for membership:
Cause: Information entered during registration does not match the information registered in the Defense Personnel Information System Solution: Verify your personal/family information registered in the Defense Personnel Information System The army (unit) number should be entered in Korean and include special characters (-, _) (e.g., 22-00000000, Busa01-12_000000) Service members must sign up for MILIPASS first If you are a soldier, contact your unit's personnel department (company level or higher) to register/change family information. Officers/military officials can register/change their information themselves. Family information should be entered without spaces based on the resident registration certificate standard (If there are changes in information such as name change, you need to modify the Defense Personnel Information System) After registering/changing family information with the Defense Personnel Information System, you can sign up for MILIPASS 2-3 days later.
2. If a warning message appears and the MILIPASS app does not run:
Cause: The app cannot be run if rooting/jailbreaking or developer options are enabled for security reasons. Solution: Disable developer options and then run the app.
3. If your army (unit) number changes:
When a warrant officer is promoted from grade 6 to grade 5, the army (unit) number changes. When officer candidates graduate and become officers, the army (unit) number changes. When soldiers are promoted to sergeants, their army (unit) number changes. If your army (unit) number changes, delete the MILIPASS app and reinstall it. Rejoin with the new army (unit) number, and your family members who previously joined can continue using it without rejoining.
