The "Hanwen Tripitaka" App offers the following features:

• Offline access to all 4600 works / 20000 volumes of Chinese Buddhist scriptures, totaling 200 million characters.

• Three font options: Song typeface, Heiti, and rounded font.

The Tripitaka is a collection of Buddhist scriptures called the "Tripitaka," with various versions such as the Qianlong Tripitaka, Hangzhou Tripitaka, Goryeo Tripitaka, Taisho Tripitaka, among others. The existing Tripitaka is categorized into three systems: Chinese, Tibetan, and Pali. This App is solely related to Chinese Buddhist classics.

The Chinese Buddhist Electronic Text Association (CBETA) was established in 1998 in Taiwan as a non-profit organization dedicated to digitizing Chinese Buddhist texts. The Buddhist scriptures in this App are synchronized with CBETA's latest data. They mainly include texts from the "Taisho Tripitaka" and "Manji Taisho Shinshu Daizokyo," with additional selections from the Hangzhou Tripitaka, Goryeo Tripitaka, Qianlong Tripitaka, and more.

  • Agamas: Long Agama Sutra, Middle Agama Sutra, Miscellaneous Agama Sutra, Ekottara Agama Sutra (commonly known as the "Four Agamas").

  • Lotus Sutra (including the Universal Gate Chapter).
  • Avatamsaka Sutra (including the Universal Worthy Chapter).
