It took me three days to complete this game. My principle when playing interactive stories is to choose one path and stick to it without revisiting other routes. Finishing a game allows me to immerse myself in its narratives thoroughly.

Initially, when Monroe learned of Kun's longstanding affection for her, I felt a wave of emotion. Honestly, I wasn't particularly drawn to Kun at first. Perhaps it was his actions at the beginning that made me see him as a good actor, but too good of one—someone who has experienced various lives through characters, making it hard for me to grasp who he truly is or what he stands for. However, discovering that he had cherished Monroe in his heart all these years shifted my perspective. Despite being an A-list celebrity in a superficial industry, his unwavering commitment to Monroe—even if it was only a facade—spoke volumes about his character. It seemed that as they opened up to each other, happiness could blossom between them.

Three years later, when the truth emerged, I still believed Mrs. Song had no regrets in choosing him. Nevertheless, I felt disillusioned. Did he love Monroe genuinely? Or was it merely possessive desire? For his selfish reasons, he sabotaged her chance for a triumphant return after returning home. Over three years spent together under the guise of love allowed him to witness her struggles within the industry; yet he remained silent about his desires.

When did I start appreciating Huai Jin fully? Initially, my attention was primarily on Kun. Though I acknowledged Huai Jin's merits without deep interest, as their relationship developed into something ambiguous and intimate, he gradually won me over. He was by the protagonist's side as she rose from despair; he tirelessly fought for her, orchestrating opportunities even when it weighed heavily on him personally. He became like a fine jade—gentle and soothing.

Throughout the unfolding drama, I never doubted the bond between Huai Jin and Qiu; some irritation surfaced—perhaps a hint of jealousy—but I felt assured that he harbored no secrets. Ultimately, while Huai Jin's ending felt gratifyingly easy yet somewhat simplistic, I wished for more detailed developments within their story. I won’t pursue other endings; this would have added deeper emotional resonance. Viewing it like a novel allows for contemplations of pure love alongside connections formed with potentially suitable partners; ultimately choosing the one most fitting and beloved resonates the strongest.
