Yandex Talk

An app that translates speech into text and vice versa, which can be used for communication with deaf and hard of hearing individuals.

Listens and Recognizes

Speech is recognized and displayed on the smartphone screen as text. To help the app understand you better, speak slowly and clearly, using simple phrases.

Speaks Aloud

The app allows you to type your response, and the phone will speak the composed phrase or show the text to the interlocutor - messages can be expanded to full screen.

Offers Ready Phrases

The app also includes ready-made replies, for example, if you need to start a conversation, queue in a store, or ask for help. You can also add your own options to the list.

Stores Communication History

The app neatly records all replies (both oral and written) in dialog form. Any dialogue can be continued.

For now, communication using Yandex Talk is possible only:

• In Russian;
• With one person;
• In an internet access zone;
• In not very noisy places.
