Consumers in the Republic of Belarus can verify the authenticity of products through the Electronic ZNAK application, which provides information regarding the manufacturer, ingredients, shelf life, and production date.

The verification process is as follows:

• The manufacturer (or importer) is required to apply an identification mark to the product.
• The consumer needs to locate the Data Matrix digital code on the product packaging and scan it using the application.

If the verification results provide details about the product that match the item you are inspecting, you possess a legitimate product. Conversely, discrepancies may indicate that you are facing a counterfeit item. The application also allows users to report any violations.
