The photos you casually take with your iPhone often include location information thanks to the device’s built-in GPS capabilities. Are you aware that this metadata can reveal sensitive information such as your home address or private locations? With this application, you can easily review your photos for embedded location data and remove it if necessary.

When capturing images on an iPhone with location services enabled, GPS data is automatically embedded into the photo files. This information can be easily viewed on a map simply by reading the photo data. While sharing your photos on social media platforms like Twitter or Facebook and seeing their locations can be engaging, it also poses privacy concerns if private places like your residence are inadvertently exposed.

To address this, I have developed an app that quickly analyzes your photo library for embedded location data and displays a comprehensive list. If desired, it also allows you to eliminate this metadata and create copies of the images without location information.

Main features of this application include:

• Analysis and display of location metadata across all photos stored within the iPhone's photo library.
• Visual representation of embedded location data on a map for images containing such information.
• Ability to save duplicated copies of photos with the location data removed, ensuring privacy preservation.

Note: The app requires access to your photo library to analyze images and their metadata. Please grant permission accordingly. It performs analysis locally on your device without any internet communication, so it remains functional offline. Additionally, when sharing images via email or direct transfer, location data may still be included unless explicitly removed; however, posts to social media through the app do not automatically embed such information.
