The Early Edition refers to the earliest issued edition of the daily newspaper. Journalists continuously revise and enhance the early edition created in the evening to prepare for the next day's delivery. Traditionally, publishers would limitedly sell printed copies of this early edition in Seoul the evening before publication. The 'Chosun Ilbo Early Edition' resurrects this tradition in digital form, reviving a service discontinued in 2005.

Based on Chosun Ilbo's pioneering experience with the world's first 'Smart Newspaper,' this service faithfully reproduces the newspaper layout on digital screens. Leveraging smart device capabilities, it offers functionalities such as clipping, searching, keyword setting, and printing. Users can remotely print articles via a predetermined printer or save their preferred articles directly onto their mobile devices through a clipping feature.

The early edition becomes available every evening at 7 p.m. For instance, from Sunday evening at 7 p.m., users can access the Monday edition. Stay ahead of national agenda and receive updates earlier than anyone else through the 'Chosun Ilbo Early Edition.'
