I have always hoped for a weather app that is accurate, light, and simple. With that in mind, I developed Baiyun Weather. It may not have been the most rational decision, but I genuinely like it.

Baiyun Weather is a lightweight and precise weather forecasting app that utilizes professional weather data to provide accurate forecasts down to the street level and minute-by-minute rainfall information. To enhance the weather experience, Baiyun Weather offers real-time animated renderings for weather conditions like rain, snow, and fog. For instance, during rainfall, you can visually perceive the current rainfall intensity and wind speed through these animations.

• Accuracy: Street-level weather forecasts, minute-by-minute rainfall information, knowing which street will experience rain at what time with just a glance.
• Lightweight: Only weather information – no advertisements, news, or privacy infringements that you can't tolerate.
• Dynamic Background: Carefully crafted expressive colors that dynamically adjust based on current weather, wind speed, and time – comforting like breathing.
• Real-time Animation: When encountering special weather phenomena like rain, snow, or fog, real-time animated renderings help you intuitively sense the current weather conditions.
• Widgets: Supports multiple desktop widget sizes – refreshing may not be real-time, but it's a great choice for desktop decoration.

Subscription Membership Information

• Baiyun Weather operates on a subscription-based payment model mainly to cover the costs of weather data. If this approach is not favorable to you, consider using the Colorful Clouds Weather app provided by my data vendor – Colorful Clouds Technology. Thank you for your understanding.
• Becoming a subscriber unlocks all features of Baiyun Weather including beautiful desktop widgets, viewing and saving weather information for different regions, real-time rainfall charts (2 hours), customizable hourly weather data display, as well as potential upcoming features.
• There are two subscription plans:
  • Monthly - ¥5/month with a free 3-day trial.
  • Yearly - ¥38/year with a free 3-day trial.
• Upon confirmation of purchase, payment will be charged to your iTunes account directly. The subscription will automatically renew after the trial period ends. Apple iTunes will debit your account 24 hours before the current subscription period ends and extend it by one subscription cycle upon successful payment. You can manage automatic subscription renewal settings in your system account preferences. To cancel renewal, make changes at least 24 hours before the current billing cycle.
