The official app "Kanken Start" offers a comprehensive approach to preparing for the Kanji Kentei (Japanese Kanji Proficiency Test). Developed in collaboration with the Japan Kanji Aptitude Testing Foundation, it aims to support users in their exam preparations through various features.

The app includes a skill assessment function that evaluates your current level of kanji proficiency, providing a personalized starting point for your studies.

With a mix of drills and mock examinations, users can target their weak areas and work towards achieving certification. The app's extensive question bank contains approximately 15,000 items, covering all levels from 1 to 10 based on the new exam standards, enabling concentrated practice aligned with actual test content.

A built-in skill diagnosis feature helps users determine the appropriate exam level to attempt, offering guidance on where to focus their efforts. After training in the "Drill" mode, users can challenge themselves with "Mock Exam" mode, which visualizes strengths and weaknesses through radar charts and allows comparison of individual scores with average passing scores.

Additionally, the app provides advanced weak point analysis functions. Users can focus on questions they answered incorrectly, as well as those marked or passed, facilitating targeted review and more efficient learning.

The application offers various modes for effective study:

• Skill Diagnosis Mode: Evaluates your suitability for different levels before beginning intensive study by automatically selecting questions based on your answers.
• Drill Mode: Allows focused practice on specific areas such as reading or stroke count, with multiple answer methods including handwriting recognition and multiple-choice options. Difficult questions can be reviewed later for reinforced learning.
• Mock Exam Mode: Simulates actual test conditions using past exam questions, providing visual feedback on performance through radar charts and enabling comparison with average passing scores.
