Learning languages and growing through reading is not an innovative concept; it applies to native languages as well as foreign languages. It is a common rule followed by all language learners and individuals for personal growth. For a child, learning English without extensive reading is akin to studying language limited to textbooks; the child will not achieve true language proficiency or be able to use the language to explore the unknown. Without reading, English learning lacks complete significance.

A child's reading experience evolves through five distinct stages: enlightenment, listening and reading, read-aloud, silent reading, and writing based on age groups.

Inconsistency is the most fatal foe of reading; sticking to a minimum of 20 minutes of daily reading poses the greatest challenge to our reading habit. Usually, it takes over six months for consistency to yield results.

Various methods can help us maintain a reading habit such as setting specific times, following designated plans, offering tangible representations of a child's progress; participating in reading groups, among others. Graded Reading adopts a scientifically sound approach that aligns with children's psychology, weaving story development as the backbone to guide the unfolding of each book; augmented with badges, stars for motivation, ensuring instant feedback, and combining short and long-term rewards. The effectiveness has already been thoroughly validated by primary students at physical offline stores.

Furthermore, we deeply integrate with elementary school English curriculum content. Understanding the unique challenges faced by Chinese parents, we have established an effective connection between extracurricular reading and in-class knowledge systems. A total of 967 three-word vocabulary from People's Education Press series (3 English textbooks) are covered across our first 240 volumes at a 98% rate. Simultaneously, 334 sentence structures are fully covered. By enjoying daily readings while fulfilling tasks in an engaging manner, academic performance is effectively enhanced. Additionally, Graded Reading broadly adheres to the "Chinese Primary and Secondary School Students' Graded English Reading Standards" (experimental draft) for classification.
