The All Japan Solo Drinking Association comprises venues nationwide that actively support solo drinkers. These establishments display a sticker reading “Ohitohisama Douzo” (“Solo Welcome”) issued by the association. The “Soro Yoi” app serves as a simple tool for locating and engaging with these member venues.

• Searching for establishments: The app lists approximately 4,500 member venues across Japan. Users can search based on current location, station name, or area to find safe and welcoming spots for solo drinking.

If you spot someone interesting after becoming solo, simply press the “Cheers” button! Please note that individuals looking to drink alone are not visible to other users. Also, those who receive a chat can respond free of charge until 6 AM the next morning.
