How did the science of grammar originate? In the past, Arabs spoke a pure and fluent Arabic language without artificiality. Therefore, it became essential to establish rules to preserve the Arabic language from disappearing and to create reference materials for future needs. This marked the beginning of Arabic grammar. In our times, eloquence is nearly absent from everyday speech, being mainly preserved in books and formal discourse. Hence, learning grammar has become necessary to understand classical Arabic texts, including the Quran and Sunnah, and to prevent the loss of the Arabic language among us.
