What is KCB i-PIN?

KCB i-PIN is a service that allows for the convenient and secure use of i-PIN and My-PIN through an app.

i-PIN is a means of confirming one's identity on the internet using an ID and password instead of a resident registration number.

*What is My-PIN?

My-PIN is a random 13-digit number that can be used in everyday life instead of a resident registration number.

Main Features

1. Convenient authentication through app registration

   - After initial user registration, i-PIN authentication can be done more conveniently.

2. Secure authentication via app OTP

   - By providing OTP as an additional authentication method, i-PIN usage can be done more securely.

3. Real-time notification for each authentication

   - Receive real-time notifications for i-PIN and My-PIN authentication occurrences for peace of mind usage.

4. Manage personal information with your smartphone

   - Easily manage authentication history, additional authentication settings, and My-PIN issuance and disposal on your smartphone.

5. Offline My-PIN authentication

   - My-PIN issuance is possible through the app, and QR codes and barcodes are provided for offline authentication purposes.

• Only available with a mobile phone registered in your own name.

• K-My-PIN requires an internet connection to be available.

• Data charges may apply when using LTE, 3G.

• Devices that do not support Fido may have limitations on the use of convenient authentication.

• - Used to read USIM (Universal Subscriber Identity Module) information and for secure i-PIN authentication settings.

• - Used to manage app functionality and settings information.

Optional Access Permissions

• - Used for app-based i-PIN convenient authentication using QR codes through photo and video shooting permissions.
